Former Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan has urged the current players to go all out in their crucial World Cup playoff against the Super Eagles of Nigeria tonight.

The Black Stars having missed out in the last edition of the global showpiece are chasing for their fourth appearance at the World Cup.

By that, the four-time African champions will have to beat the Super Eagles in the playoff games.

Ghana will host the Super Eagles at the Baba Yara Stadium tonight.

The Black Stars’ all-time top scorer said the team has to come out and play like wounded lions in order to qualify for the World Cup in Qatar.

Asamoah Gyan in a tweet said the nation is fully behind the team and they should go on and make the nation proud.

“The nation is fully behind you, to make it to the World Cup after all the setbacks is a game-changer achievement for the nation, yourselves & your families.

“Step on that pitch as wounded lions & go make history once again. Go Ghana Black Stars. Go for Gold,” Gyan tweeted.
