Evangelist Akwasi Awuah, the leader and general overseer of Pillar of Zion Church International, has made a statement that appears to be eliciting a great deal of response.
It was made clear to the public, according to an audio recording of him preaching on a popular radio station called Sikka 89.5 FM in Kumasi, when he did teachings on church money.
The head pastor of the Pillar of Zion Church International in the studio of Sika FM stated categorically that the congregation is under no obligation to assist individuals who are financially unstable.
The eminent righteous man-made sense of the fact that congregational cash should be kept with the congregation rather than with individuals.
The funds are used to support the activities of the church. Evangelist Akwasi Awuah emphasized the importance of individuals being their own bosses and supporting the congregation in their endeavours.
What the man of God is saying may be correct to a certain extent, because church
members should concentrate on starting and growing businesses that will generate income rather than going to the church for financial assistance.
What are your thoughts on a man of God telling people they shouldn’t rely on church funds?
