UGAHSA to Storm Legon Campus with 15th Edition of Health Week Celebration

University of Ghana Allied Health Students’ Association (UGAHSA) is one of the largest associations under the College of Health Sciences in University of Ghana. The student body boasts of schools under its umbrella. These are departments of Medical Laboratory Sciences, Radiography, Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Dental Laboratory, Respiratory Therapy and Physiotherapy. There are over 600 students joining this association. These are the prospective health professionals who do amazing work to ensure complete healthcare.

Every year, UGAHSA organizes a health week celebration with a specific theme. This year’s edition dares to be different, as it is dubbed “Revolution.” The theme selected for the week’s celebration is “Raising awareness on tuberculosis and its management, a global threat: the role of the Allied Health professional.”

The events promise to present a once-in-a-lifetime experience, with extreme fun, as well as educative and informative. UGAHSA invites all student bodies and associations especially ones that are located on Korle Bu campus, or health-related faculties, to join them champion the course of fighting tuberculosis, and share the fun and experience that comes along with it.
